Picked up the P85+.
It's in beautiful shape; essentially as new. Assuming all Tesla CPOs are set to this standard, it's a great way to go. The suspension and tire changes make a *huge* difference in handling. Turn in is sharper, body roll is reduced, and the whole car feels both lighter and smaller (though it clearly isn't). It's also a lot faster, mostly at lower speeds. Even with bigger, stickier tires, it struggles for traction and will easily light up the wheels if you aren't careful with the...uh...throttle. AWD would address this, but it would also make the car feel less alive, which doesn't seem like a great trade. |

Definitely yes, though it's hard to quantify how much so far. In other cars with these wheels that I've driven I'd guess it's between 5 and 10 percent.

There's enough leeway that you can break traction if you're intemperate. But, yeah, you're right.
