New S-class leaked

https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a3...-s-class-leak/

Interior: I say it about Tesla and I'll say it about this: I don't like the lack of tactile feedback for no-look selections. I suppose an utterly kick-ass voice recognition system will help a lot, but I still want a bunch of hard, shortcut buttons. #dinosour.

Exterior: Unless that is a bulbous fake cover, that front end looks bad. It seems the S-Class skips a generation in terms of looking good. I like current one and I like the one from the 90's. I think there was only one in-between those.

I don't mind the front but the rear looks like a Lexus

Yup. I don't care for the triangle tail lamps.

Agreed about the lack of hard buttons but at least this moves away from the two horizontal stitched together iPad look.

This is very true. They are much more integrated.

I also like a hard buttons and controllers in lieu of touch screens. The touch screen in the 911 is a PITA compared to more recent I-drive implementations with shortcut keys, etc.

It does look like there is still a lot of camo / cladding on the exterior. I doubt the final tail lights look like that.

Were you guys looking at the same pics the rest of us were? Tesla interiors are [whatever you may think they are good/bad], but at least they look they meant to do it that way. I don't remember anything from Benz looking so half-assed with such a "Just put it...here. And the other one over there" feel to it.

Yuck.

Ha true. It does seem that nearly everyone is hellbent on copying Teslas interior design.its easy to see why given all the opportunities for cost savings while “looking cool”.

As far as Mercedes, I haven’t liked any of their interiors since the 80s era benzes. They went from cheap looking in the early 2000s to baroque steam punk most recently.
