Why you all hatin' on the Panamera?

Much of this board hates SUV's, love high HP sedans, and whack off to wagons with a stick..

Porche builds funky 4-door thingy that's fast and drives like a Porsche.... and it is almost universally hated.

Talk to me people. Are we all about looks and trendiness over function all of a sudden? Should we all buy SUV's now?

Can't speak for everyone else but for me I'm looking for a combination of form AND function. A car needs both. I don't doubt the Panamera has the function down right. Porsche does that very well. It's the form that just hideous.

And I don't get the whole sport station wagon thing either. Well, I sort of get it but I don't get all excited over it.

Porsche's USA website says car is only available with PDK.

Heck I just read somewhere that Ferrari will no longer offer a traditional manual on any of their cars. It is definitely going the way of the dinosaur on the high end sports car.

-It's ass makes the bungle butt look like Jessica Alba's (or your nice derrier of choice)
-It's big and heavy
-It's WAY expensive.

How often do we extol the virtues of an S63 or a 750iL?

...right.

True. The Italia (458) will be DCT-only.
