People are betting on more traffic and increased demand for cars —since public transport is now known as The Main Source of COVID19 in the US.

I don't know. In most respects my company is very old school. Yet, even they have been surprised at how productive people have been from home and are not rushing anyone back that doesn't absolutely have to be there. I think people will be working from home more often. Enough to make up for additional volume in trying to avoid public transportation? I don't know. In the near term, probably.

I think we'll end up doing the same in Tampa for a good number of people, myself included. |

It would be nice if you guys are right. It would decrease traffic.

That would certainly be nice. One plus to working remotely as a matter of course (I've been doing it for four years), is I don't concern myself much with that--except getting my son to and from school. But I have now moved about half a mile (a hair more) from his new high school, so he can walk...

Well - I survived round one on the layoffs.
Didn't hurt that I was involved with selling 5 brand new widebodies last week. LOL. Proof that you can, sometimes, sell a snow cone to an Eskimo. LOL We'll see how things go out from here. I will be going to CA soon-ish to get the E9, need to finish gettout out of the old house, finish fixing up the new shop (some substantial changes), make some changes to the new house, go on a vacation (yeah - right - lol) and... just relax. I am very fortunate that I even have the remote ability to talk about doing these things. There are TONS of people that are just trying to survive and not loose everything they have. Oh yeah - and deal with the whole virus mess on top of this... as we all are. Stay safe.
