clyde-
Did you go with the ugly-ass new Maryland license plates or are you getting some org plates of some kind? I really don't want those plates on my car but the only org I can think of with plates that I could get is the NCC of the BMWCCA. Thoughts? EDIT- Both my high school and college have plates. But, really, I just can't see doing that. I'm not a big scream about where I went to school 20+ years ago kind of guy. |

http://capitals.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=42569 To start, I'll have the 1812 embarassment. I'll probably get the agriculture or Bay tag again as soon as I figure out what I want it to say. Just kinda down the list of things to do for me right now. I wish MD would learn something from CA and do some vintage reissues.

Do what I did and just get "Save the bay" plates. They'll go well with the color of the car (hell, I have them on a red car and they look great).
The 1812 plates are an abomination. I have them on the truck... because tow vehicle. |

My wife refused the new tags so we went with the Bay tags instead. Couldn't bring myself to do the bmw tags on two cars.
JV, we went with the farm tags on the truck, seemed most fitting. |

I should have gotten the farm tags (truck is maroon, would have looked nice) but my brain was in "save money" mode when I registered that thing.

I thought the farm tags looked good on the truck when it was Brian's. I think I remember that, anyway.

The hideous design of the standard 1812 tags were a stroke of genius for the state. I bet they're solely responsible for a huge uptick in Save the Bay tag sales.

Maryland could do well with something similar. More: http://www.ricksplates.com/maryland/mdgallery.htm
