Picked up the poseurmobile

... although I've confirmed that the Boxster does, indeed have a dry sump. Though the big canvas "sunroof" moves me solidly into Poseurdom.

It's a year 2000 S, 6-speed, only performance enhancing option is the 18" wheel package. Every other "option" it has would be standard on any modern-day Kia.

Overall: It's fun. It could use a sportier alignment - I think it has zero camber up front but can be adjusted to -0.7 degrees. It doesn't "feel" fast - the engine feels equally torquey everywhere in the rev range and it's geared very tall. But it turns in quickly and crisply, holds a line well, and is pretty planted even with bonehead lift-throttle moves. I think it'll be a nice daily driver / occasional autocrosser for a couple of years.
