how can you rent a tire? Give it back if you can't afford the payments after 30k miles?

Security deposit with a sliding scale of return value based on amount of tread left, and a valid credit car to charge full/depreciated value if there is any damage. It just like the VHS/DVD rental business, but for larger amounts of money.
