I someone on Rennlist stated $8500 value the for wheels and tires. Edit: It is repeatedly stated that mods do not add value. I suppose that it true… Last edited by SCA; 10-10-2023 at 07:27 AM. |

It’s reasonably priced too. It is a 2023, so maybe that’s the discount compared to what my mind thinks the price should be.
I don’t think I can rationalize PDK on a Touring though. That seems like an odd mix. I thought the Touring was about driver engagement? Re: GT3 driving impressions —will do. Need to get past break-in period. Still a ways to go.

Just a random FYI, I do not believe George, MotoMan has previously owned a Porsche. He also currently has a Lexus LC. I know he owned a M Roadster way back in the day when they were still sold. |

Okay. For some reason I thought he had a 996 or 991. I applaud him very much for getting his car at MSRP —and choosing what he wanted. Liked his reasons for not choosing PCCBs —it makes sense. I had the steelies on my 991 GT3. I prefer the brake pedal feel of the PCCBs to be honest. I don’t understand why he got the LWBs in a Touring, but I guess that’s a story for later?

Plenty of Porsche dealers out there not screwing their customer base, mine included. Even Porsche of Beverly Hills has a new 2024 GT3 Touring that they are/were offering at MSRP.
Edit: The last I read they were also willing to sell it to out-of-state buyers. Things finally slowing down? Last edited by SCA; 10-21-2023 at 07:44 PM. |

Curious about whether Porsche Santa Clarita would sell this car to a normal person at MSRP.
Also someone has to tell motorman not to say “the Ukraine.” But interesting spec choices. Not sure what his big secret is that makes the full buckets relevant; guess that will be revealed at some point. He made a bunch of choices that I wouldn’t (red stitching doesn’t work in my mind on cognac, eg, especially with gold wheels), and I can’t imagine buying any car in Gentian, let alone a GT car. But the gold wheels pop nicely, and I’m glad he could spec it out the way he wanted. Good for him that his channel is doing that well! I certainly prefer him to Tavarish or Hoovie or the weirdo with the detailing fetish. |

I liked Gentian on the 992 when it debuted, but in my opinion it has not aged well.
LMAO re “the weirdo with the detailing fetish.” Which one? Seriously there are several with GT 992s as well as Turbos. They are all experts too. Last edited by SCA; 10-21-2023 at 08:00 PM. |
