Our LR4 is technically as quick 0-60 as the Miata (6-7 seconds) which is slowish in 2020. But if you dare floor the LR4 (a very rare occurrence for me), it will move with enough authority to freak passengers out. Similarly, I can beat the Miata pretty hard on the street (and usually do), making it move pretty fast and faster than it really is.
Yeah it's an imperfect measurement for sure. Car and driver's 5-60 metric gives a better real world sense.

Okay. I have to admit that I’ll probably get the JL 4Xe when it’s released this fall.

But it has to be 30mi range or better.

If it does meet that spec (I doubt it), we could be slightly tempted as well.

I was driving home from an errand this afternoon behind an old-school Miata. It had a giant multipack of paper towels in the car and it filled up the whole back window (hot today so all convertible tops were up—including mine). That’s dedication to a platform.

Let’s be honest. I want the Jeep 392. Or the diesel. Because. Bad ass.

But I’ll settle for the minivan based plugin system. Because 30mi range would save me TONs of gas money.
