The race car's motor is finally running well enough to race :)

Hot damn.

The race car is pretty powerful now that it's basically working properly. With VANOS (variable valve timing disabled), that motor is STRONG. I'll fix VANOS at some point, but I'm not going to worry about it until after Hyperfest.

...my parents are going to love the 100 foot patch I left in their driveway.

Congrats!

But is it really a race car if it runs?

100 feet in the driveway. heh

Right now, the Armada is sitting in my driveway with a trailer hooked up. The front wheels are right at the edge of the of the end of the driveway. The rear edge of the trailer is a few inches over the curb line.

Last time I ran it, it couldn't get to 4K in first in the same distance that I ran through 2nd gear in today.

The concept of a properly running race motor, still a mystery. What size jets?
