I did a track day with my low range (ie only ~200 miles max) Model S at Laguna Seca. See the photo - that’s me on the Corkscrew (man... it felt great to hit the line!).

Tesla brought Superchargers to the track, but I actually wasn’t able to use them (they were reserved for people that paid extra...) I had 2 sessions on the track (each was about 4 laps), plus a parade lap. I arrived at the track at about 86-87%, and left with about 40%. I went back to hotel to pick up my wife and daughter, and was able to charge for about an hour (at about 8kW) before heading out. We then hit a Supercharger in Gilroy - one of only 2 times I’ve had to wait for a Supercharger (a whopping 5 min...)
