C8 coupe white with black interior (yes i’m boring but I love white cars and it is the same color combo as my last Corvette (C6 coupe) with the Z51 and mag ride, carbon fiber rear spoiler/front splitter and the new wheels in black. Plus dual roofs (body color and glass) the 2LT which is the middle package plus some other things I am forgetting. I did consider the convertible but I really love the look of the Coupe.

The downside is it’s getting delivered in South Florida but the upside is I will fly down with my wife and we will make a little vaca out of it and i’ll work it out with a shipper to pick it up. Fortunately my family has a house there so it will be garaged while there.

Congrats! Far more likely you’ll get that faster than a new BMW.

Probably but I did check into the I4 which is your car in electric and am told delivery is May 2023, also still waiting for the 911 which I am in line for with 2 dealers and seems to never be happening.

Nice! Did you consider doing the Corvette museum delivery in Bowling Green? You are probably aware, but if you contact the museum director, Shane, I think for $500-1000 they will go and take photos of your car as it goes through various stages of assembly. It comes in a nice photo album as well.

Might also consider the auto train as a way to get it home, though I’ve always thought that sounds like a little more of an ordeal than it’s worth.

I don’t really want to do the museum delivery, i’ll just drive it to the Florida house and figure it out from there … it kind of makes it more relaxing plus I love going to Florida with my wife.

It’s not out of the question, I did it a few years ago with my daughters car when she went to school down in Florida … strangely enough I am in upstate NY for her graduation since she ended up transferring and we were just talking about her time in Florida.

White over black looks really good on the C8.

The C8 arrived at the dealer last Thursday and the Transporter picked it up from the dealer yesterday ... so hopefully expected delivery is Friday ... we will see.
