Every Porsche should be built with this interior:

Yes, that’s hot. Man, a GT3 Touring is something I would like very much.

Lovely. I like the cloth as well, but I can't tell if the car has the punishing bucket seats or not...

These cars plummeted once the GT3 Touring was released.

Hmmmm.

Ditto. Wish they had at least the possibility of having back seats, but I understand why they do not.

Very nice. These things were typically sold with very high markups when new, right?

Yes. It came after the GT3 went PDK-only, and was billed (not necessarily by Porsche, but by the cognoscenti) as the last time you'd be able to get a "pure" manual 911.

It did really well and Porsche put the stick back into the GT3 and then offered the GT3 touring, which is basically the 911R in series-production form. Values tanked.

But I mean, come on--Porsche always does shit like this. Anyone who expected that the 911R would never be replicated deserves to take a drubbing on resale.

For sure. I seem to remember someone asking 1 million for one of these soon after it came out. Not sure if it ever traded for that much
