I love SB, but on a T I would be very tempted to save 3 grand and get the classic Guards Red look.

The red G87 is on its way. I am unwilling to own two red vehicles at the same time. Hard pass… got to have some variety.

Yep, SB is currently fairly popular.

I made my peace with that on two levels; first, SB is actually not that popular. It stands out because it's so distinctive, and when you have a really distinctive car finding another can seem particularly saturating--but compared to colors like white or black it's a blip.

Second, to the extent it is faddish, there's actually something kind of cool about a car like a 911 in a very period correct color. I dig the 70s 911s in green and orange; I really appreciate the teal 90s Cobras, and so on. Having a SB Porsche will someday seem very mid-2020s, but that will also be appropriate.

SB is extremely popular locally. I cannot explain it. I like the color, but in certain lighting that easily lessens.

Porsche 911 GT3’s Shark Blue Paint Was Inspired By A Superyacht: https://www.carscoops.com/2021/03/po...-a-superyacht/

Edit: OT, A Carmine T is to be built the same week as my build. The dealer received two T allocations when I was given mine.

Edit 2: My SA has recently stated that a local physician is trading his GT4 for the his ordered Carmine T.

I'm sure I'm going to screw up posting an Instagram link, but this is too funny not to share:
