I want one. I'm amazed that the testers wrung 19 mpg out of that thing -- I think the E39 M5 was rated at about 18mpg highway.

No stick, no sale, not quite, IMO. Even if you absolutely hate it -- and really, there's objectively no reason for any enthusiast to hate every aspect of this car -- you at least must admit that it's driving down E39 M5 prices.

Thanks for posting the article, Nate. It was a fun read.

Am I the only one who looks at these three cars and find them awkward and gangly looking both inside and out? The Mercedes probably least so; 90K can't buy good looks?

Definately not! I feel all three are strange looking with the Merc preserving more of the "Mercedes look" from the past. But, then again, I will more than likely never own any of them due to price, so what do the car makers care?
