Interior. I don't hate the exterior of the 996, though I admit the facelift helped. I have a visceral repulsion to the interior though, and I'm not even an educated porschemudgeon. I don't think the previous interiors were all that great, but that one just really rubs me the wrong way. I think the 997 and 991 interiors are great.
