I agree. But, also seem to recall TD had decent luck with his and it's coming off lease at some point...

Just want to make a comment here, which applies to all German cars made since 2000 —but even more so for potentially temperamental FIAT or Stellantis engines too —it’s bad enough that all of the plastics degrade and crack and shatter (e.g. E90 M3 plastic throttle bodies and plastic water impellers) —but layer this “modern” trend with lackluster engine design.

Rinse. Repeat.

Okay, for the record, I have has ZERO issues over nearly 3 years with my Alfa. None.

And aside from the lack of a manual option, it truly is a much better sport sedan than the comparable offerings from Audi and BMW. It's light and has great feel.

I am seriously considering buying it off lease, especially since it's market value is well above my buy out price.
