Lemming does that mean you’re the buyer on that Spyder?

Not based on the buying history of the winner

If this 1470-mile drive home taught me anything is that I want nothing to do with the Spyder except for the front end, which looks great.

The GTS is just comfortable enough, I would not want the stiffer Spyder suspension. The GTS front end already seems to scrape-happy, never mind the lower and longer Spyder lip. The auto roof is amazing and insulated and to lose that would suck. Even in the track the GTS was crazy-capable. If you wanted a better track car you would go with a GT4.

So, in all, to me, the Spyder is just about looks.

No, no no.

It just means I’m in the market. Tracking.

I have FOMO from this thread.

I hear what you're saying, and you're completely right.

But as a low use runabout that I would absolutely only use in nice conditions, hmmmmmmmm. And let's be honest, the garage ornament factor is meaningful.

Congrats!

And I agree... Personally for me, in my area, the gt4 was less fun than a GTS (or S with GTS options) road car.

Since FC refuses to post pics, here’s someone that did a remarkably similar drive home:
