I've had 2 go in the E46 wagon, always at the worst times. The first was in the Poconos in the middle of a winter snowstorm (passenger rear) and the second was at the Wildrose charcoal kilns (driver rear). In the Poconos the window got stuck around 1/2" down, so it wasn't so bad. In Death Valley the window dropped down all the way into the door and couldn't be coaxed up at all. I ended up using some survival supplies (mylar space blanket and duct tape) to cover the hole until I got back to pavement, then re-did that with a large contractor trash bag (the space blanket fluttered annoyingly at speeds over 15 MPH), and kept that on there for a few days until I met some friends down in Baker. Fortunately, one of them had a multitool with Torx bits (though we had to disassemble the tool to have the bit reach all the way into the door handle). After I got the door card unscrewed, we were able to strong-arm the window back up and duct tape it into place. That held until I got back to NJ and ordered a new regulator.

Soon - ish....
Been talking to them a few time in the last week or so. Thngs are now starting to move along. There is a fella assigned to work on the car and we have talked a couple of times. From there - have a couple of decisions to make on what I want to do (exhaust headers... interior speakers... other things like that). Will be great to get it back. Probably in about three months or so.

It’s remarkable what a solid clay/compound will do. The E90’s paint was disgusting.

If this means we don’t get snow for a while - thanks!

Car looks great, are those the competition package wheels ? I am pretty surprised I thought I was the only one on this board who likes my cars with black wheels.
