Should be, they sold them here. My Dad and I took a 500 mile trip in one. Perfectly ok car, but the diesel is anemic. And doesn't get good enough fuel economy to make up for it.

There are actually a number of decently speced diesels wagons out there, but I’ve been studiously avoiding them. Really, the wagon is my solution, but I have to wait for the right one. Most leased 2018s won’t be available until summer/fall 2021. And maybe that’s OK timing.

I saw an XF wagon on the road yesterday. That's a really nice looking car.

Yeah, it is. And I keep forgetting about them.

I posted about it before, but I really liked the F-Pace that I rented over Xmas break. It wasn't super fast but it was really practical and nice enough to drive, and pretty pleasant to look at without being over the top.

Money aside, there are a few nice-looking, sporty-ish, midsize-ish cross-over/SUV's.

-F-Pace
-Macan
-Stelvio
-GLC
-X3
-CX-5
and more.

And since wagons are dead, we might as well get used to those taking their place. As I've mentioned an electric or plug-in hybrid version of something in that class is likely our next vehicle.

Only the X3 has a lower hatch for hauling dogs around. The CX-5 hatch is as high up as the X5, which, for me, requires hoisting 100+ lbs of dogs up into the vehicle.

One intriguing contender is the upcoming Mazda3 Turbo hatchback...https://www.mazdausa.com/vehicles/2021-mazda3-turbo

I'd love a good roomy hatch. Would be a great car for wife and then kids. My oldest is less than 4 years away from a permit!
