I got lucky today

Not like that.

A buddy of mine works at a service station. A guy with a BMW (I think my friend said it was an M2) showed up with an out of state car needing a state inspection and four tires mounted. The car had Pilot Sport 4S on it and the guy had a set of Pilot Sport A/S (all season?) he wanted put on so he could drive it through the winter.,

So my buddy mounts and balances the tires, and offers to load the other tires in the car and the guy says no, you can keep them, I don't want them. Seems odd. Tires are almost new, they have 2,000 miles on them. One of them had a nail dead center in it which my friend plugged, but they're otherwise perfect. So my buddy posts them on Facebook, and I see the sizes are what I have on the Boxster. 245/35/19 and 265/35/19. I'm off work today doing the clutch on the Mazdaspeed so I ask my buddy what he wants for them. He says "nothing, just come get them, they don't fit anything I own."

So... four new shoes for the Boxster, which actually needs them. I put 45,000 on the current tires (Conti DW) and they're near the wear bars. And loud.

I didn't finish the clutch job on the Mazdaspeed, but today was a good day nonetheless

I'd love some MPS4S in 265/35/20 and 235/35/20 pretty please!!! My p-zero's have 60 to 70% but either time or use/abuse has turned them rather worthless.
