Pair of michelin pilot super sport 265/40-18.

Like new, 95 to 100% tread, I'll measure and report back. Previous owner drove them to watkins glen, a couple of hundred miles, his car failed within a few laps (don't ask!) and then he stopped tracking. They don't really have any track wear, they just have picked some clumps from the track that are still on and that will come off with a bit of normal driving.

I'm thinking $350. I really don't want to ship if I can avoid it.

I actually have the fronts 235/40-18 as well, but there is someone local interested in those. If he fudges another day, I can sell the four as a whole set to a boxster/cayman driver. Say $650.

Too bad they aren't 19s...

My Boxster is almost due for new tires. One of the rears will need to be replaced in the next couple months (the other has much less mileage on it -- replaced it ~15 months ago). The fronts are in better shape, but are the original tires -- and it just turned 27k miles this week...

But my car has the 19s on it...

Where is local?

I could use them as the basis for my next set of tires for the M3. Continue my streak of not buying any set of tires for full price.

North NJ right by NYC. They are a touch too tall in the rear for the e46 m3 stock sizes. Fronts are a touch too short.

I'd buy all four, but I don't have a good way to pick them up.

My plan was to get quality 18" wheels, another set of TPMS sensors and make a second set for the croc. The MPSS seems to be the best all-around tire out there. I bought the tires, but the wheels are not forthcoming... I'm also low on storage space and frankly, I'd rather use the money and space for something motorcycle related. The croc is sitting on 19" bbs's with 75% potenzas as it is, there is simply no point in having another set. I'll put pics up soon.

ACtually they are only 0.3" higher than the stock tires. The 265/35-18s are a bit lower.

I was looking at doing 265/40s for my next set. I will put JSTs used 265/40s on the car in the rear this weekend.

Oh, I run 265s all around on my M3.

I am in NE MD.

But I possibly could work out a colleague bringing them down. He lives near Rutgers.

I'm looking to sell all four now. I put them up on planet-9 & rennlist and they will likely sell this weekend if not today. So if a 'mudgeon wants them act quickly.
