I’m excited for you to take delivery of your car. And to finally get to drive it.
I think you’ll love it. Honestly, the one car any sports car fan should own right now is a manual 911 (any level trim) or a 718 with a manual. Porsche just does it well with the right combination of lightweight and enough power to go along with a decent manual transmission. People always say you can spend more for a sports car, but these days, how many of them are true manuals? PDK is amazing, but it’s a lifeless driving experience.

Josh (PA) I recently read on RL that Porsche dealers are able to configure Aventurine up to March 2024. One individual very recently spec’ed a C2S Cab in Aventurine. I thought it was going NLA 11/23?

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up
I was on the configurator yesterday and aventurine says for builds up to 10/23. I might give my sales guy a ring and see if there is any chance for a build before the .2 cut over.

There’s a lot of trust I have not built up with Maserati or AM or McLaren, but I have with Porsche. Porsche still builds better engines, IMHO, since they make their own. It matters. And they also spend more R&D money to build enough lightness into their cars. You’re still looking at a 300-400lb delta between a 992 turbo cabrio and an Aston convertible. I bet the Aston engine (the AMG V8TT) sounds better, but having the turbos sit inside the V? No thanks. Last point to convey, I still think a Turbo value and depreciation is more of a known known. I don’t know what the heck I’d ve in for wiith an AM. Even McLarens sink in value.
