Edit... listing says it's a Metric Mechanic 3.8L? I couldn't find that engine on their site. I assume it's M30-based and it's maybe the 3.7L they offer?

Yes, the seller posted a link to this: https://metricmechanic.com/6-cylinder-m30-engines/

EDIT: sorry, it looks like there is another tab, and they do offer a 3.8.

Unrelated: until like 5 minutes ago I had never really had a desire to own a 300Z.

The car in the E21 listing seems to have a different inlet manifold which confused me.

I've always liked the 300ZX. They still have quite a presence in person.

Very nice car there - but the E9 forum is starting to pick it apart a bit. LOL

My car will be very similar in some respects - better in others and maybe not so better in a few as well....
The big deal with mine is that it will have the cream of the crop engine (M90 with Megasquirt - making more power than any stock or near stock M30).
I also have the 5 speed and the big brakes...
That tan interior is nice though. I have black.
This car is Fjord - mine is Baikal.
Mine started as an early carb'd car - this one is/was a CSi that was then modded...

Will be very interesting to see...

Edit - 4/30 (6 days to go for the auction)
Yep - the forum is finding all sorts of things 'wrong' with the car. Some meaningful, some not so much.
Bidding has reached $130k. Will be really interesting to see where this one ends up.

I cannot believe that someone out there is already willing to pay $7500+fees for this.

These cars had a base MSRP of $14.8 when new in 1985 and the bidding is up to $7500 with two days left. Who would want to do that? The mind boggles.
