It’s too much work for me to take the PCCBs off the car for how little/infrequently it would be driven.

Someone at the dealership asked me if I’d do track work.

Yes. But not with a 991.2 Turbo S. I just don’t like turbocharging on the track. So the PCCBs are totally lost on me —correct. But if I want to swap into the C8 Z06 or C8 ZR1 in the near future, life is easier to keep a car bone stock.

I’ll be the first person to say that I hate the weight of cars these days. But I concede the point that suspension tuning and power to weight can mask most of the pork.

For me, what it came down to was a 2018 GT3 6speed or a 991.2 TT-S. And I think I’d use the powerband of the TT-S more for what I do. Sad to say so, but I am not the kind of person who runs a car at 4000 rpms everywhere in non-track driving and it’s a crime to drive a GT3 at 2500-3000rpms.

You will want one of these:

Unless you're cool with auto start stop being on every time you start up. One of the best thing I did to mine.

I totally understand your sentiment about the way the turbo delivers low end power on the street. Obviously mine is a fraction of yours, but the low revs torque was a major reason I went with a . 2 car over the N/A . 1 cars

Makes sense—I imagine the TTS will be a lot more usable. The number of really good GT3 miles would be a fraction of the small number of miles you put on the car.

Congrats Lemming

Grey or black is nice on the new gt3 to help hide that black front air dam/bumper

It looks really sharp from that angle. I still think they could have done better with the front bumper. Too much black plastic.
