Oh, the Noise! (Courtesy google vids)
Something I've wanted to do for a while... My long-favored nominees for the category of "Most intoxicating noise as a result of exploding air and fuel in an enclosed chamber":
Porsche Carrera GT: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...9&q=carrera+gt http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...1&q=carrera+gt http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...6&q=carrera+gt Pagani Zonda F: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...6952&q=zonda+f http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...4457&q=zonda+f http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...7699&q=zonda+f Ferrari F360CS/F430: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...7255601&q=f430 http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...1254148&q=f430 http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...5136037&q=f430 http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...447&q=top+gear Can't help but play these over and over again. Comments? Add your own choices! You small-block Chevy fans need to dig up the C6 Z06 + Nitrous vid, that sounds amazing! |

hehe, I guess the owner took a long time to decide which car to drive and didn't get to work early enough to park in the garage...

I never get tired of listening to a good Ferrari engine note. Makes me want to get out there and drive!

Now you have really made me want to go blow about $1200 on a new exhaust for the V. There is SOO much unlocked aural goodness in that engine . . .

it was funny to watch the Stig wipe out in the Carrera GT (a lot), but that car has some serious noise. i'm a neanderthal who still very much prefers a racing v8 cackle and pop, but the Carrera GT is wicked.
not so fond of the Pagani or Ferrari noises in comparison.
