Allegedly… Color combo, options and delivery location are playing a huge factor as they are batch building and delivering closer to areas with Rivian service centers already open. Who knows…. He can always call/email and plant the seed via a friendly just checking in.

Edit: My exterior color has been set at Limestone since 2020 and they just recently revealed what the actual color is going to look like. My estimated delivery is July through September, doubt it will happen as I am probably not sticking with Limestone.

If you are seriously considering one I would locate a dealer that is willing to sell at a minimum ADM ASAP and give a refundable deposit. Otherwise, cross your fingers and wait.
I have bought three BMW’s from the same location so I do have a good resource to pull from and if not I can defiantly wait. =)

The one from Felix?

Yeah, didn't surprise me at all, though he's probably kidding.

He's ~ 34 and has owned probably double the number of cars I have in my life. From an NC Miata to a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and from a Cruze diesel to a Challenger Hellcat 6-speed (which he still owns, along with a Maverick, which he hates).

Very eclectic tastes, and he gets bored quickly. The Challenger is the car he's owned for the longest period thus far.

I will sell you mine when I am done with it, but I suspect I will probably flip it depending on the market as well as the demand. Though I could end up loving it, but given how much I like the 997 who knows… a lot of what if’s.

Haha. I think I want a new one that I can customize if anything, Given the way the used car market is.

Most likely the very last “New” BMW I will ever be interested in.

Not sure what the hell I will do after. I mean I kept the M5 for 11y. If it’s the true end of mainstream ICE I just might keep it or my current M2 for a similar amount of time.

Saw my first Rivian truck and lucid air this week
I can't see either is pleasing to the eyes.

No where else to post this but saw an f40 on the road tonight. That was kind of incredible.

I saw a couple of Lucids at Cars and Coffee the other week. They’re not pretty but they’re decent looking and they have a lot of presence.

Also saw an F40, which was a superstar.
