Yea buddy. If the hurricane hadn't hit us we'd be doing the same thing in the 911 in FLX wine country. There are still cars that deserve a manual and feel better with one.

I miss my e9x M3. Damn you for reminding me. Clyde: as you’d expect the Camaro does take some getting used to, but it’s generally effortless. The clutch is much better than a 987 or 996 setup. The shifter mechanism is okay. Tends to be crabby unless you gets the revs right. But when you get it right, it’s really fun. I’m still learning how to get throttle to blip to the correct rpms for downshifts. The computer does it better. Once you get used to the engine, then it feels kind of sleepy below 4000 rpms. It’s so smooth that it starts to feel slow.

I’ve been debating doing that to the M3 since I got it. Same with wrapping the from end in clear film and the roof in black vinyl.

Actually that was my first mod not the exhaust. I wrapped the entire front end. Hood, fenders, front bumper and also the mirror caps. It’s not as pricy as it used to be.

The dealer did it for me. They dropped the entire rear exhaust can, ruffed it up so the paint would stick and used high temp flat black.
They just taped off the tips. The look alone was worth it.
