My favorite email spam

Since I had the M3 serviced in Germany, I've been on that dealer's mailing list and it's pretty neat to see the stuff they send out, including offers on models we can't get here. Also, I get emails at most once a month, which is perfectly reasonable.

Here's a PDF of the web version of the one I got today - all about Alpina models.

That is pretty neat. Gives you some extra practice with reading really big words like 'Umsatzsteueridentifikationsnummer', too.

Reminds me of the oil change my dad had in his Euro Delivery E32 in the summer of 1994 - In Copenhagen. I remember him calling me later to (kind of) complain of his $400 oil change (I think that was how much it was -more or less anyway).

Well, if you play - you gotta pay. With all the taxes in Denmark, he was driving a car that costs about $100k (in DK) back then.
He did say that he and my Mom got the ROYAL treatment as the dealer didn't see many 7-series and everyone made a fuss about 'everything' - is the waiting room chair comfortable, coffee or tea... is the waiting room cool or warm enough... can we get you anything - and so on... He did say my Mom loved the attention. He just wanted to look at the different cars - by himself .... lol
