Tire fitment in a sedan question
So I bought a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+, 225/45ZR17 94Y, for my car.
Went to the Tire Rack warehouse about 30 miles away to pick them up ($40 off !!) in my g/f's minivan. My question is (and I'm too damn lazy to find out), is it possible to stuff 4 tires in my E46 sedan so that I can have them mounted at the local tire shop ?? Thanks in advance. (I remember Raffi from Bimmerfest saying he once crammed 4 of his racing tires in his coupe on his way to a track, but am not exactly sure).

I have traveled with 4 225/45/17 tires in a e46 330Ci a decade ago. The folding rear seats helped but I think it should be possible in a sedan. Just have some blankets and large bags handy.
You could also take out the spare and the trunk floor off to guarantee two go in the trunk. |

You can fit 8 245/45-R17's in an E46*
9 if you use the passenger seat. |
