Yup, dealing with the same. The OEM Pirellis went from adequate and quiet to mediocre (and terrible in winter) and louder. One more year and they are out.

Some people like Pirellis. I can’t imagine why.

She's put about 2,500 miles on it and it's garaged - the tires are in pretty good shape. Unlike the A6, which is having a dry rot vs. tire wear competition.

The curse of VW reliability hit me in my 2019 GTI .
Wife was driving to work on the freeway and went to shift from 6th into a lower gear and could not get it into gear. She could eventually got it into what seems like 4th and limped to the side of the freeway. Clutch seems fine but whole transmission seemed to have shifted down and to the right. As mentioned, only seem to be able to barely get into 4th, no reverse or other gears, very strange. At the dealer now but they are not able to look at it until earliest on Friday Think this is the first time i have been stranded and needed a tow truck. I was admiring the new GTI at the Houston auto show last weekend, manual with the cloth checkerboard seats. Very nice car.

What is that? It’s not a broken shifter cable, is it?. Or could it be a broken transmission mount?
