FS: 2006 Volvo V70R

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=297524277 Yes, it's a cheesy ad. I posted it last night and already have 3 interested people. One guy totalled his V70R last week, the other is having knee surgery and needs to give up his 6MT, and the other guy has owned an S60R and a V70R. Amazing, all of them repeat R'ers. One from Philly and one from Cincinnati. |

Cool. I've sent it to my pals. They are still dithering about new versus used.

I know. I did say it was cheesy. I wasn't sure I would get many enthusiasts, so I had to do my bet "Honest Bob" impersonation to try to lure the non-enthusiast Volvo buyer, who is probably 99% of volvo buyers.
So far, 4 people now interested - all enthusiats. PA, NJ, OH, and NY. So, of course, now my ad seems stupid. Oh well. As long as it sells, I don't really care. |

OK, this is unreal. I've had about a dozen seriously interested people and two scheduled visits in effectively one full day.
In over two months I did not get that much interest on the Boxster, and even on the much cheaper ZHP I got far less interest. |

Are you sure you priced them equally aggressively?

Yeah, pretty sure. When I got JST's MCS, not having seen the market I thought I could maybe get 20-22K. I did some research and figured I'd ask 25K and hopefully get 24 or maybe even 23K, but right now it looks like I may get full asking, or close. So I'm happy. Realistically, if I get a quick, trouble-free $24K, I'll let it go.

This is the advantage to having a low-mileage, well maintained enthusiast car with no stories. It's a sought-after model and you're not asking a mint for it.
My Z06 was a quick and easy sale, but my (more common, less desirable) 986S took a while to sell. |

Congrats! With galves around 18-19k, you sold very well. It's possible that galves is a little behind the crazy demand for well priced used cars these days.
