I won the loaner lottery
It's an S, which is awesome enough as far as service loaners go. What's more unbelievable is that it has a stick (!!).
Thank you, Mini of Sterling, for making my morning. It even has Bluetooth, so I could plug in and take my conference call on the way to work. |

Not much. It's a bit slower, and at least around town in actually rides a bit better because of the slightly longer wheelbase, but otherwise the only time you notice a difference is when you back up.

Very cool. I also got something interesting as a loaner last week: a 335d with sport, nav, comfort access, and a few other goodies. Not half bad. Step, though.

I should say that I drove the Mini(s) on the highway for the first time in a while today, and it never ceases to amaze me just how effortlessly quick they are at 80+ mph. I continue to drive faster in the Mini, on average, than I do in the M3 (though I saw Butthead's east coast cousin this week in NYC, and he managed to get the M3 up past 110 on the Jersey Turnpike, or so he said).

I got a Z3 3.0 coupe with stick as a loaner once... Just after they went out of production...

That's awesome. So is your driving impression since the wife wants one.
