Just a fairly cheap Allen 3 bike rack. Reviews were decent and it seems to do the trick, and was a lot cheaper than the Saris Bones or whatever.

That’s why it has those microfiber cloths underneath.

Well, after almost 4 years of ownership, I felt it was time for the Miata to get a proper detail job. Didn't take a great "before" photo, but the one with the blue tape around the headlights is after claying but before polishing. It also shows before/after polishing the headlamp lenses. Pretty big improvement.
I also took a couple of close ups of the front bumper just to show how truly beat up it is from rock chips. In all, it came out ok for what it is. At least those few nasty drip--like spots of etched paint mostly buffed out. Also, Mazda's touch up stick is as good as I've had for delivering the right amount of paint on a stone chip. Turns out a few stone chips on the front quarter panels and windshield frame were showing rust, so they were sanded, treated with rust reformer, and then painted. Looks good! You can probably ditch the front plate. I haven't had front plates on my cars in years and years.
