Very cool (and unique) family hauler?

We just took a '06 530xit in trade... 7k miles, sport package, manual, with the aerodynamic kit. Not a wagon guy at all, but this car looks really cool.

I'd imagine that it has to be a very rare car too... I can't remember the last time I saw a 530xit with a stick.

I'll post some pics once they get them on the website.

I wonder why they're dumping it?

I don't really understand why people buy the sport package for the AWD cars. Particularly when the comfort seats are available a la carte.

Hmm, having just sold my s4 avant with a bmw xi in mind, I'm intrigued. I'm mainly looking for an e46/e90 xi but they're very hard to find in good condition/color with sports pack & manual.

I've seen private sale prices (of automatics) in the mid-'40s. These take quite a depreciation hit. I imagine the market for the stick at a dealership is pretty limited, so this might be a steal....

At some point (early 2006?) BMW swapped out the sport seats for the comfort seats with the sport package because the sport seats did not crash test well.

That was the excuse for raping the guy that traded it in. However, it will be put on the lot with the price jacked up more than normal, because it's "rare".
