It is a gorgeous car. A guy that lives in my building drives one. He also has a Maserati Quattroporte and a Vespa. Italian doctor, go figure and I believe the Ferrari is his DD. It was gone this morning in spite the tropical storm.

We were coming back from a trip to Sandpoint Idaho yesterday and on the way through Spokane we saw this. I've seen amphibious cars before but not something this "boaty." Pretty well decked out with the chrome railings along the bow and the step ladder off the back. I kept wondering what happens when he goes over speed bumps or curb cuts. The skirt was pretty low to the pavement and there were scuff marks but it wasn't cracked as I'd have expected.

Then saw this thing in Leavenworth, WA as we stopped for dinner at the Muchen Haus a beer garden. I thought it was the KTM X-bow or something like that. Turns out it was a Polaris Slingshot. I hadn't realize Polaris has moved from making ATVs to a road machine like this. Seems like it'd be an interesting toy.

There's a few Slingshots around here -- I've seen at least 2 (both red, but in different parts of town and vastly different drivers). One I've seen 4-5 times, all near my house, so the guy must live around us here.

That boat is just odd...

I saw one of these in Montreal for the F1 race. They close down some streets. On Peel St, they have various neat cars (Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, and this) parked on the closed section.

Saw my first McLaren around here... temp plates, doing about 5 under the limit in the center lane on I-78. I'm guessing it was either a delivery or a test drive. Sure is purty.

Oh, I suppose I should mention I saw a charcoal metallic colored C7 Corvette parked at the curb in Sandpoint, ID this past weekend.

Damn it looked good in person. It was the first time I'd had a chance to look it over closely. Interior was nice and the whole car definitely seemed like a step up from past interactions in terms of quality.

My wife just sent me a picture of this 912 parked in our neighborhood. I don't see a lot of these around.

There's one rotting in a garage 3 houses down from mine - but it's more brown than that one.
