https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1994-toyota-mr2-10/

I paid $26K for my 94T from the original owner in 96 with way less miles then this example.

I had a 91 Turbo it was literally the first batch that came out and no one knew what kind of car it was. I loved that car. The funny thing is back then I thought that car was so fast, my gigantic Q7 is quicker to 60

This E36 has a few issues but what a great color combo.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1996-bmw-m3-28/

Buy it then repaint and clear bra the front bumper, install ZKW glass headlights, install a new headliner and then drive it until the wheels fall off.

Well add to that the saggy glove box issue and WTH clean the dam engine compartment if you are going to have an auction.

MUST NOT CAVE TO OLDER CAR WANT!!!

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1998-bmw-m3-sedan-48/

I could get this for a song compared to the other cars I want and drive it into the ground and not loose much. Love the color combo.

Edit: And they are SUPER cheap to repair compared to the M5.

Sweet. But SO old. Still, others here wouldn’t blink.

I'm with you on the "so old" comment. I loved my e36s and I still enjoy the use case of our e46 wagon, but I wouldn't want to go back to them. I've lost just about any desire to own an old 'nice' car. I used to think a F-car 328 would be fun, or an e34 m5 or something, but that desire is gone.

My 1er is so much better than my e36 m3c in every way and every time I open the door a trim piece doesn't fall off.

I think I've found my sweet spot in cars that are one or two generations behind 'new'.

I’m right there with you Josh. Not sure I’ll ever buy another new car. I wont bid or get that car but like I said the want is strong. The sedan fixes a lot of the problems I had with my convertible version but yeah to old. I did love that car though.

Yeah, not many things are scarier than an old BMW.

But I am always drawn to an old 850i like this one https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1991-bmw-850i-71/

Center console mobile phone (working) is necessary though

It’s really pretty, but 31k with 4 drafts to go? Ouch.
