I wouldn’t buy a new 911 until we see how reliable the new turbo engines are.

Sure, they’ll be fine. But Porsche always has some design issue in their first gen power plants.

I assume this is all the more reason to take all the money out of my 401k find a bunch of well appointed used 991s and end of production 997 and sit on them for 10 yrs... to profit?

I can't read all of this stuff, but one thing does stand out. As much as I like 991's, the 7-speed wasn't as good as either the 6-speed boxes on the 981's or any previous 987/997.
