Sorry, missed this one. No plans to upgrade anything really—the car is great!

Glad you are enjoying it. Guessing you are well passed break-in by now?

Nice! It sounds as if you are really enjoying it. Glad you got the rear wheel drive? How is ID8 now that you have had ample time with it? Completed a road trips in it? Comfortable?

For sure glad to have RWD. I never even considered getting xDrive. I think ID8 is great. Still have intermittent issues caused by that damned intersection where the wireless carplay gets dropped, which also seems to cause external GPS apps to go wonky. That's the main gripe.

I've driven to Waco and back (100 miles each way) with 4 people in the car and had no complaints (rear passengers were 5'2"ish). Also to San Antonio and back (75 miles) and it's a great highway cruiser.

Have you not had the recent OTA SW update pushing to you yet?

It sounds like a great ‘little’ BMW! Clearly it is not really little, but it is one of the smaller models on offer.

I drove a G42 xDrive M240i for approx 20+ miles. Impressive! I did notice some DBW throttle delay. If BMW offered a manual RWD example I could totally forgo a G87 M2. Clearly that will never happen though. Given the MSRP on this build, one is not that far from the base MSRP on G87 M2 at $63,200.
