Then you could hide it behind a cone!

The Exige doesn't make a lot of sense to me. More money for a heavier car...

I'd rather see an Elise offered with a supercharger package or a low-boost turbo.

The thought of an Elise with a TC is just awesome. In the distant future, maybe. Hard to see me getting anything other than a BoxsterS/CaymanS as replacement to my 330i.

i thought from aty's posting awhile back that the Exige was going to be forced induction, after all.

All I know is that it isn't. Same engine and same ratings as the Elise.

I briefly considered getting an Elise before getting the Boxster. It definitely is more fun to drive than the Boxster is. Only problem is I wouldn't be comfortable owning one unless I had a garage to keep the Elise in and a beater to drive to the mall, supermarket, etc.

It's going to be several years before I get one but I will own one someday.

so the eBay business is basically doing that to call attention to themselves? did i read that correctly?

if that's true --> lame-a-thon.

could do better just advertising in AutoWeek like the rest of the high-end resellers.

They would do a better job by placing a LONG auction for the exige starting at $0 and no reserve.

I'm sure they'd get at leaast MSRP and get lots of GOOD publicity.
