What’s wrong with a sunroof

They're a noisy, leaky, heavy, headroom-consuming, prone-to-breaking, expensive hole in the roof.

Other than that, they're great.

Huh ?? What year is this that they leak and are noisy ?? I never had a sunroof leak and when it’s closed you would never know I had one but heck I can save a few pounds for when i’m driving around and save .001 seconds from 0 to 60

Is Jeff as tall as George Muresan that he needs the extra headroom in a Golf

Everything rummatt said, I am short at 5’9” and I think a short inseam for my height. Also not happy it is bundled with 4K option , trying to keep the price down if I go new.

Test drove this GTI today

https://www.vwofkearnymesa.com/inven...5t7au5gm014665

Drove about what I expected.

-Steering at slow parking speeds was way over boosted but on the road felt fine. Can feel the fwd basis but drove sporty.

-Clutch was super light and a bit vague but easy to drive. Throws are long, kind of like BMW style.

-Engine was a lot louder then I expected but I guess in a good way. Is it piped in or fake? Salesguy did not know. Also there was different drive modes , ran it in sport but not sure what it did. I guessing throttle since no adaptive suspension and mt. Engine felt turbo'd and very rubber band like, more then my turbo.

Guess above sounds negative but it is nice car and fun.

The car we drove was pretty beaten up and the carfax off the dealer website shows it as stolen and damaged Our salesguy was new cars and did not know the history. When I mentioned it the used saleguys he asked how we found out. Also when we first got there someone was looking at it and they proceeded to buy it after I drove it.

They had a new model in this silver white color, thought it kind of looked nice. Sort of cement looking and I think it is similar to the new M2 competition color. I always get frustrated with looking used, this brand new one is 5k more without negotiation and 7 year warranty.

Should not of watched this video, someone posted the same guy reviewing the R. Make me go down the rabbit hole...

at least it makes me feel better about not getting a LSD since crappy sounding haldex.

Seems like I need to track down earlier GTI with a real diff.
