Exactly…. Everyone wants an over-rev report on a preowned, manual 911 and since the 997 the ranges are numbered 1 through 6. Edit: BTW, Anything in the 4-6 range is consider unfavorable. PDK equipped vehicles are not a concern with over-revs as the car simply will not let it occur.

The thing is, we all know PDK is vastly superior.

You really tend to miss the driving experience with a manual though.

Kudos for trying to like the T —

I enjoyed the PDK in the Boxster T service loaner that I had last fall. Would I easily bore of it over time? Absolutely! So long as a manual option is offered that will be the transmission that I spec.

By the way, I would not want to have to pay out-of-pocket to replace a failed PDK past the factory warranty. A $30k tab and since my friend has been a technician at the local dealership I have witnessed several of them being replaced. When they take a dump, they do it in a grand fashion.

The 7 speed manual in the T with the GTS SSK isn’t bad, you do have to be aware of your downshifts.

Simply further confirmation that the hybrid 911s are coming and soon… This PAG press release was published yesterday.

BTW, I was recently offered a 992.1 S allocation, July production via a midwestern dealer. $10k nonrefundable deposit. My deposit for the T was $0.
