Not sure how notable, but it is rare--my neighbor bought this orange RDX, which apparently is one of 360 "PMC" editions that Acura is building.
It's a truly bizarre gimmick, with these cars being assembled at the Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio where they build the NSX, but having no real difference in features other than the blaze orange paint. I guess the NSX facility must be fantastically underutilized? https://www.acura.com/pmc-edition |

Has anyone even seen one of the new NSXs on the road?
I vaguely remember seeing one over a year ago. Its seems like a great car. Guess they over priced it -- base price is ~$20k more than an R8. There are 2 R8s in my new neighborhood (and one C8)...

I think maybe once, at a cars and coffee. I definitely do not see them anywhere near as frequently as other exotics, including the various McLarens.

I've seen a couple. They are smaller and better looking in person than they look in pictures (to me). I beleive Alan looked at them, and they are offering steep discounts over list (like probably comparable to R8 pricing discounts). I read that it leases very well too.

I've only ever seen one new NSX in person. It wasn't quite as ugly as it is in pictures, but it's still awfully "Civic Type R" for the money you pay.

I've never driven one so maybe I don't quite "get it." I mean, I understand that it was more fun than the numbers suggests, and uber-reliable and non-temperamental with great handling, but still. For the prices they command nowadays, I don't know. Not my thing. |
