xmas present? Z06 v. Viper v. GT40 (again)

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...7/pageId=67618

i think the Edmunds.com writers are getting better and better as time goes by. not that anyone has to agree with their subjective rankings, but it's a much better read than it used to be.

Heh, where is Stuka's Z06? While Porsche waters down the 911 with poseur blocks and safe understeer, Chevy produces a dry-sumped tail-happy beast for the price of a moderately optioned Boxster.

(Seriously Andy, get the 997 GT3 if it's going to come with the motorsport block. I really can't picture you turning to American iron)

Damn, nice photos.

Of the trio, the Viper appeals least to me. If it were my money, I would buy the Z06 immediately. If it were a gift...that GT would be a hell of a ride.

If I could afford it, the GT is the car that I'd get. I appreciate the Z06, but it inspires zero lust. The GT does. Put another way--while I may someday own a Z06, I'll never have a model of one.

I already have a model GT.

i'm not sure how you can choose the corvette --any corvette-- over the Ford GT EXCEPT you factor in price.

like the MPH magazine top 10 and even in this web article, the emotional appeal of the Ford GT is amazing and still (barely) outperforms both cars.

I must be the only person on earth completely disinterested in the GT. The only reason I'd choose it would be if someone were giving it to me so I could sell it and buy the other 2.
