I did this trip too back in the 90’s with at that time my newly wed wife, it was so memorable because we took my dads new NSX from his house in NY to his house in Florida ...

That was back when we were in our 20’s ... I’m not sure how I feel about this past trip, it was cool but sleeping on that rocky train kinda sucked and I was really glad when we finally hit the station which was 2 hours late being a train in front of us hit a car and we had to have a 2 hour delay waiting for the clean up.

They described it as a minor accident so thank god nothing tragic.

My A6 was a 1999. . . when I walk up to a 1999 A6 now, I can't believe how small it seems

I know ... isn't it crazy ... all cars have grown, just look at the Nissan Altima, there is no reason for getting a Maxima ...

Just checked out this thread and it’s a year later, this car is now in upstate NY and will be going back to Audi in January or February ... kinda crazy because it’s up to only 8,000 miles ... whoever gets this car after is one lucky person ... if only I could convince my daughter we should keep it though she wants the Q5 so we will see what happens

Is your daughter back at FL Southern? If so, how does she like it? My youngest did their lacrosse camp this summer and she loved it. Coach Reber runs a very good women lacrosse program, and so it's on my daughter's early list of colleges that she'll be looking at.
