I REALLY like Aventurine - to the point I'm looking at the potential of wrapping my 911 that color.
That one's great. Love Aventurine.

I guess the question is what you plan to do with the car? Are you going to use it for long-haul highway driving? Or just as a local toy?

Personally, I'd take the GT3 over the turbo (and the Cayman) all day, every day, but the GT3 is a bucket list car for me in a way the Turbo just isn't.

I like this one a lot.

And if you wanted something a bit more...special? How about a GT3 RS?

https://finder.porsche.com/us/en_US/911-GT3-RS-166864

Which, ok, it's a lot more money but it keeps popping up in my FB feed and I really, really want it.

Actually this one is cheaper and kind of a more interesting color combo:

The white 07 GT3 is awesome.

While I like the green/beige for many cars, sedans, Land Rovers etc, I don't think it goes well on a boxster gts. Just my 2 cents.

This isn't exactly the right thread for it, but we don't really have a generic Boxster thread, so I'll dump it here.

TIL that Cobalt Blue was a $3000 option on my car, which I found surprising for whatever reason. And it really caused me to rethink my hard core stance against paying big money for optional colors, because honestly this color is amazing and it's one of my favorite parts of the car.

Also, I came across this review that mentioned Cobalt Blue and I just wanted to bask in its epic, epic wrongness:

The fact that the Cobalt Blue Metallic is a $3,070 option only makes things worse.

Of course the above falls somewhere between "Don't Care" and "Who Gives a Turkey?" The crowds gathered at the freak show that is Venice Beach certainly don't. We park and are immediately inundated by onlookers spellbound by the Cayman's sexpot shape — the high arc in the roofline, the rear hatch tucked neatly into the car's rear haunches.

Cobalt is a pretty badass color and I recall using it exclusively in all my configuration builds at the time.

I like blue but was not in love with Cobalt... I can see it's ok on the boxster, but not on the cayman. Reminds me of that wrx blue or Estoril - neither of which are favorites. My top choice for that car was Atlas and I got it. Still though, I wouldn't kick it out of bed. in these color-starved days.

Oh, those were the days when there 5 to 10 dealers in a 1-2 hr radius with manual cars, S and non-S, in all sorts of colors. What I want from my cars has not changed one bit. I don't need more air suspension, more power, more gps, more bluetooth... But what is on offer has passed me by.

I’ve had WR Blue Pearl, Montego Blue, and whatever VW called the blue on the R...Rising Blue? So those blues are extremely my jam.

But atlas is interesting, there’s more to it than typical greys.

Still, I’ve come to conclude that bright colors on cars make me happy. It’s nice to stand out some.

This turned out to be a good price for this car.
