I know the litigation against Elon’s comp package is calling into question the true independence of the TSLA board of directors, but how long can board allow this much value destruction without taking action? Trend over past 3 months is brutal. Elon is free to say what he wants on Twitter since he owns it, but he shouldn’t be able to sink Tesla unchecked.

I'm not planning on selling my Tesla because of Musk.
But I will be considering other EVs when its time to replace our cars. My Model 3 is over 4 years old, but only has 25k miles (combination of 5 months in the body shop in '18-'19 and the shift to working from home (planned before COVID, but accelerated by a few months...). My wife's Model Y is 2.5 years old and now has ~32k miles. Its become our road trip car. I could easily see us keeping the 3 for another ~3 years and the Y for another 5-6... Plenty of time for lots of competition to be avail. And for charging networks to catch up (or Tesla to roll out adapter use).

Mine is 4 years old and has 45k ish miles on it. No real plans to sell but absolutely will not buy another; a combo of the Musk BS and the fact that it drives my wife crazy because it frequently decides to stop letting her in with her Bluetooth phone.
That’s especially true if, as rumored, there’s an interior redo next year that brings the yoke. I like driving an EV, I really do, but unless there’s a dramatic improvement in SAE fast charging networks in the next few years it would be awful hard to go from the current Tesla network to something else. |

Feedback from ZBB and JST is good here. Pretty fair and balanced for the early adopters.
I’m still waiting it out to see the same. Just a more accessible charging network.

Although having an adapter that would allow CCS cars to use Tesla superchargers in the US would help in terms of charger availability, I suspect we'd see many of the same issues that plague other public charging networks. One of the factors that makes Teslas network so easy and reliable is that they make both the car and the chargers. Once you try to integrate other vehicles, there will be similar issues involving communication between car and charger and, of course various hassles involving apps and payment.
