Tesla announced the hiring of their new VP of production… He comes from Audi and most recently headed production for the A4, A5 and Q5.

He'll be busy for the next 18 months getting Fremont ready for Model 3...

Much better announcement compared to a recent one where they were proud to hire top marketing folk from Facebook & other tech companies. As if they need more of that...

I've started wondering what the odds are that Tesla will go belly up and I'll lose my $1k
