What don’t you like about it?

I like the fact that it’s been driven.

I hate these low mileage cars now. It’s a real headache to deal with the issues of non-use.

Love the color too.

The exterior color is great. The tan interior not so much. The blue top, yuck.

It's also pretty beat-up on the inside for a 55k car. I know the tan interiors don't hold up as well as the black ones do, visually at least, but that one is pretty rough. It's also not a full-leather car which IMO makes a big difference in the overall feel of the interior - the steering wheel, dash, doors in vinyl is pretty cheap-feeling.

There's also nothing at all special about it. It's just standard equipment through and through. Add in that it's a .1 car and it's a hard pass for me.

IDK, I like the blue top. I've gotten used to it, maybe, but I think it looks better with blue than black.

The interior is rough, yes, though tan just looks like shit so quickly there's not a lot you can do about it, short of replacing parts. Dark colors get the same nicks but they don't show nearly as much. But if I were the seller I would have invested in a couple of new minor trim pieces that would have helped a lot.

E.g., that triangle bit around the mirror switch that's all hacked up in the pics? $24.

It ended up going for 24K, which is pretty strong money for a 987.1.

Yeah, given the sale price I guess the bidders disagreed with me, which is fine. I really wanted a Cobalt car when I was looking but I simply could not find one that had a stick and a black interior.

not sure if I should post this here or in the "Dial 911" thread, but if you want Sport Chrono on a 991.1 or a 981,' no can buy' for the time being. Porsche issued a Stop Sale. Probably due to the emission circumventing issue that came up recently:

You can’t buy it from a Porsche dealer you’re saying correct ? I don’t see how they could prevent a private sale.

Right, Porsche has issued a stop sale to their dealers on the listed cars.

So in other words the 991.1 inventory for the USA just went way down ...

I guess because I have S/C my 981S is in the group. Not sure if it's an Ugh or a Yay...

Oh well, these emissions recalls haven't been terrible for owners. We absolutely made out on the TDI (drove it for free from 24k to 72k miles), I would have gotten $1 or 2k on the JGC if I had kept it long enough. Maybe I'll get something; I mainly hope they don't cut power.
