Bah to all of you. It's not a bad looking car; the base Sierra was actually pretty attractive. The RS bits are goofy but purposeful; like any other homologation special, the wing and the vents and the flares only make sense in context.

The E30 M3 was probably the best looking of these things on the road, but that's an aberration. I don't think the Deta Integrale or the 2.3-16 Evo or for that matter the original WRXs looked any better than this.

It can be a bad looking car and still not be worse than those others you mentioned.

EDIT: In all fairness, I'm not nearly as repulsed by the Merkur XR4TI. I actually kind of like the look of those, which is odd, since they're pretty damned similar. I can't really explain that.

Damn straight.

Someone once said my car looked like the Magilla Gorilla car. Not sure that's accurate, but I kind of liked the comparison.

OMG. That's hot.

I'd want heat/AC and lose the yellow lenses, but that car (and photo) is all the sexy.

That's pretty even though street cars with external tow hooks make me want to punch baby seals.

I liked the clutch pedal creak in the video they posted. That wouldn't annoy the crap out of me or anything.

Bren,

You buy it? A bit too clean for me, would be worried about driving it hard.

Haha, I wish. That price is encouraging though.

That thing was for sale for a long time, good for them for finally letting it go.

JST?

Not a huge fan of some of the cosmetic mods and a bit overpriced but guessing pretty fun to drive. Local for you too.
